Ride a helicopter onto Te Moeka o Tuawe, or Fox Glacier, then spend up to three hours walking across changing ice with guides such as Charlie, Serena, Henry, and Billy. Boots, crampons, poles, and wet-weather gear are supplied. Expect short flights, mountain views, and an active glacier hike.

From Mount Cook Airport, you’ll fly over Tasman Glacier Lake, land on the ice, and spend two hours hiking among crevasses and ice formations. Travel from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon West by airplane, then descend 4,000 feet by helicopter to the Colorado River for a 15 to 20 minute pontoon ride. After returning to the rim, use the shuttle to see Eagle Point and Guano Point before flying back.

Leave Queenstown by minivan for a full day of mountain views, Lake Pukaki, and the Tasman Glacier. You’ll take two helicopter flights and hike on the ice with a guide, then stop for salmon and fruit ice cream. Guide Mati may lead your glacier walk when available.
